Tips for the Best Crispy Skin Chicken Thighs

  • Start by patting your chicken completely dry with a paper towel; removing that surface moisture is the secret to a perfect crunch.
  • For an extra crispy finish, give the pan a quick 2-minute blast under the broiler right before serving.
  • Always use bone-in chicken thighs; they retain significantly more moisture and flavor during roasting than boneless cuts.

How to Store the Chicken Thighs

  • Allow your chicken and veggies to reach room temperature before tucking them into an airtight container. They’ll stay perfectly fresh and flavorful in the fridge for up to four days.
  • If you’re planning further ahead, these chicken and veggies freeze beautifully for up to 3 months when sealed in a freezer-safe bag.
  • To enjoy them again, just pop them back in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes or until they’re hot and the skin regains its crispness.
