Welcome to Easy Mediterranean Dishes! I’m Heidi, a first-generation Egyptian American, based in New York. I’m the founder, recipe developer, and food photographer behind Easy Mediterranean Dishes!
Growing up in an Egyptian home, we always had food at the heart of our family life. Traditional Mediterranean cuisine filled our home, where my mom would spend hours in the kitchen preparing the most delicious and healthy meals for us. However, her recipes were filled with love, no exact measurements—just a pinch of this, a dash of that. After getting married, I started cooking and learned how to recreate those beloved dishes myself. And now I can’t wait to pass them down to you, too!
As a busy mom of 3 boys, I understand how challenging it can be to put healthier, flavorful meals on the table every single day without spending hours in the kitchen. Between work, school schedules, and everyday responsibilities, cooking can quickly feel overwhelming.
