A light, flavorful Mediterranean sea bass fillet baked with olive oil, garlic, lemon, and herbs. This easy dish comes together quickly and pairs perfectly with rice and roasted vegetables for a healthy dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Sea Bass fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt - or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper - or to taste
  • 2 tbsp ground coriander
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 6 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1  lemon - sliced ( optional)
  • 1 small red onion - sliced ( optional)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes - ( optional)
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives - ( optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley - chopped ( optional)

Method
 

Season the Sea Bass
  1. Place the Sea Bass fillets in a baking dish.

  2. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the fillets.
  3. Sprinkle garlic, oregano, coriander, cumin, salt, and black pepper evenly.
    Cover and refrigerate for 30 min to 2 hours.

Bake the Sea Bass
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    ( optional step) - Arrange sliced onion, cherry tomatoes, and olives around the fish. Place lemon slices on top of each fillet or around them for fresh Mediterranean flavor.
    Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  2. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the fish before serving.
