Baked Mediterranean Sea Bass

A light, flavorful Mediterranean tender seabass fillets baked with olive oil, garlic, lemon, and herbs. This easy dish comes together quickly and pairs perfectly with rice and roasted vegetables for a healthy dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Sea Bass fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt - or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper - or to taste
  • 2 tbsp ground coriander
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1  lemon - sliced ( optional)
  • 1 small red onion - sliced ( optional)
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes - ( optional)
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives - ( optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley - chopped ( optional)

Method
 

Preheat the oven
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the fish
  1. Place the Sea Bass fillets in a baking dish.
  2. Arrange sliced onion, cherry tomatoes, and olives around the fish.
  3. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the fillets.
  4. Sprinkle garlic, oregano, coriander, cumin, salt, and black pepper evenly.
  5. Place lemon slices on top of each fillet for fresh Mediterranean flavor.
  6. ( optional step) Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Bake
  1. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the fish before serving.
