Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 slices bread - toasted and cut into cubes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 red bell pepper - diced
  • 1/2 lb ground beef - cooked and drained
  • 2 green onions - chopped
  • 2 tbsp Butter - for greasing baking dish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Layer the toasted bread cubes evenly in the prepared baking dish.

  4. Add the cheddar cheese over the bread.

  5. Sprinkle the diced bell peppers.

  6. Then, add the cooked ground beef.

  7. Followed by mozzarella cheese.

  8. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.

  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.

  10. Remove from the oven and let the eggah rest for 5 minutes.
    Garnish with chopped green onions before serving warm.
